I snapped this photo walking through the hip and student-friendly neighbourhood of Hongdae in Seoul. The restaurant sign says it all; your family deserves the best, and that evidently includes ‘luxury chicken’. I can’t tell you what the chicken tasted like because with a name like that I figured the meal would be far too pricey for my wallet…
Have you spotted any strange signs on your travels? If you’d like to share one, you can drop me a line here.

I always find it bizarre when you see restaurants advertising ‘Lady Chicken’ – chicken that’s somehow geared towards women?! Probably some weird diet trend, but honestly – who knows!!

Haha, I haven’t come across that one yet. Next time I see it on the menu I may just have to order it!
Haha I love it, I have seen quite a few in my travels!

I bet! Hilarious ‘engrish’ signs are one of the many perks of living in Asia.
That’s a great name for a chicken restaurant, and I agree with you, I’d walk right by because it sounds expensive!

Haha, yes, the funny thing is that it didn’t look all that luxurious from the exterior.
It ain’t KFC, that’s for sure!

No, but I have found a few other places that would rival KFC. For starters they pour me free beer while I wait for my fried chicken to be made.
I never get tired of seeing these kinds of signs! The weirdest one I saw was in Vietnam where a sign in the toilet stall kindly requested that users not flush corpses down the hole.

Wowzahs! That is one major error. I’d be scared of using the toilets after reading that.
Very funny! My friend bought me a book called “Japanese Engrish” a few years back full of gems like this. I love Asia
